Universal Studios, Florida

Yuki's first stop in Florida was to Universal Studios.  It looks super fun.

Yuki's 2nd Trip

This is Yuki at the airport.  Almost ready to take her red eye to Florida.

One more plane ride till Florida.  She is waiting in the United Club with her new friends.

Hall of the Great Buddha Temple, Nara, Japan

Yuki in front of the Hall of the Great Buddha Temple.  Inside the hall is a large bronze statue of Buddha.  There are deer roaming around the grounds.

Here is a picture of the deer being fed rice wafers.  If you say "bow"they do!

Fuji-San

Mt. Fuji is an active volcano.  The last time it erupted was 1707.  It is the tallest mountain in Japan.  People climb Mt. Fuji and often start at night to get a better view of the sunrise.  Japan's nickname is "Land of the Rising Sun."

Yuki is by a flower on a green tea plant.  Green tea is very healthy to drink.  Everyday Yuki and her friends were served green tea on their tour.

Green tea grows well here at the foot of Mt. Fuji because of the weather.

Imabari, Japan

This is a very old bridge.  It goes over a stream in a beautiful Risturin Koen Garden in Imabari.

The garden has many beautiful flowers and maple trees that turn orange and red.

Yuki at Edo Museum

This is Yuki in one of the rooms in the Edo Castle Model.  She learned all about how people lived long ago at the Edo-Tokyo Museum.  This area was called Edo long ago until they changed it to Tokyo.

This bell is also at Edo Museum.  It is used to ring in each hour of the day.

This is Yuki.  She wears big red glasses.  Sometimes she is teased, which she does not like at all.
Take a look at her dress and you will see that her favorite colors are pink, purple and blue. She has short black hair and black eyes.
Yuki loves music.  Her favorite kind of music is classical piano.  If you take another good look at her dress you will see that she has eighth notes on the bottom.
In her spare time she likes to look at doll catalogues.  Maybe at this very moment she is saving up for a doll to buy on one of her travels.

Alice's First Trip

Alice's first trip was to Las Vegas!  Here she is at the light show at the Freemont Express.  She stayed up really late.  The show was at midnight!

Alice got to wait in the Hawaiian Airlines Lounge. Oooooh.

Alice (inspired by Alice in Wonderland)

Alice is the newsiest passing doll to be shared on the blog.  She is 10 years old.  She loves to eat M'nMs on airplanes (p.s. the peanut kind).  She likes animals.  Her favorite animals are white rabbits.  She is known to be a daydreamer and does not like books without pictures.  She also does not like tea parties, croquet, and small doors, but she does like to travel.  She loves to share stories of her adventures.

Travels in England

Charles had a lovely time with seven nurses as they walked along the Limestone Way in the Peak District National Park, UK.

Goodbye Italy

Charles left Italy and headed north.  He traveled by van for three days and had very exciting stops along the way.

This is Charles as he traveled through Switzerland.  His next stop was on the edge of the Black Forest in Germany.

Biederbach, Germany

A beautiful picture of swans in the canal.

Bruges, Belgium was his next stop.  Bruges looks very pretty.  It has lots of canals.  You can see Charles in front of a canal with white swans swimming around!  I love that picture!
