I saw this idea for making wooden dolls on Grace Lin's Pocket Pacy blog. I decided to make my own, because it looked fun. I am calling them passing dolls because if you are given one of my dolls I would like you to take them somewhere and then pass them on to someone else for another journey. Missy Sails Pelican Lake

Yesterday Missy went to Pelican Lake and sailed a boat with her friend. In Pelican Lake you can find different kinds of fish, like yellow perch, big mouth bass, and bluegill. Maybe Missy did some fishing. She loves being on the water.

Grace

This is Grace. She loves reading, writing, and painting. But she is a little slow to finish a book because she is so tiny. Cupcakes are her favorite snack. Some things on Grace's bucket list are: meet her favorite author, Grace Lin, eat cupcakes from around the world, meet other passing dolls, learn to dance, and buy clothes to wear when she dances. Grace is wondering where her first journey will take her, and especially looking forward to trying new foods.
