Hannah in Argentina

Hannah is excited to say Hola! from the capital of Argentina, Buenos Aires.  Hola! She and her friend took a 17 hour bus ride to Iguazu Falls located between Argentina and Brazil. Opposite of her last adventure in Niagara Falls, Hannah was very hot in 95 degree weather.  She was thankful of the cool spray at the falls. Sadly, when she was having a soda, a coati (a south american mammal, that reminds me of a raccoon)  stole the drink right out of her hand.  If you ever travel to this part of the world, watch out for coatis!

Hannah is the first of my passing dolls to travel to South America!

Hannah at Niagara Falls

Hannah is visiting Niagara Falls, with a new friend.  Niagara has three different waterfalls between America and Canada. The smallest one is Bridal veil falls. The largest is the Horseshoe falls which is mostly in Canada. The American falls are all in America. The falls are a source of hydroelectric power.  Hydroelectric power is making electricity with water.  Pretty cool, I learned more about it here. Hannah was glad to see this, because she cares for the environment.  And it also helps her charge her mini iPad. 

Hannah thinks that the Niagara falls are so beautiful against the snow.  Don't you?  

     

Hannah in Butterfly Wonderland

Hannah's last stop in Arizona was butterfly wonderland in Scottsdale.  In butterfly wonderland Hannah saw many butterflies and moths and learned a lot about their life cycles. Hannah enjoyed visiting the butterflies and made a couple of friends that were just her size!

Oops, forgot Stitch!

Hannah met Stitch while at Disneyland.  She was glad to see a local, and hang out for awhile.  Hannah loves the movie Lilo and Stitch and has watched it a lot.  Her favorite part of the movie is when all of the people from the story come together at the end and make Lilo's new ohana.

Hannah at Montezuma Castle and Sedona

When one of Hannah's passing doll friends Eve went to New York, she learned that President Theodore Roosevelt was passionate about saving important historical sites. Hannah learned that the  Montezuma Castle was one of the first sites that was preserved by Roosevelt.  The castle quickly became a tourist destination.  Some of the first visitors to the castle got into the castle by climbing ladders on the side of tall lime stone cliffs.  The tourist access of the castle was ended due to the damage on the Castle. Today about 350,000 people visit Montezuma castle a year! Hannah thought that the castle was so amazing she loved the view of the castle way above.  

Sedona is a city in Arizona with a population of about 10,000 people!  Hannah was amazed by the red sandstone formations all over.  Take a look in the distance and you can what looks like a pig and otter talking to each other.  Hannah wonders what they are saying...

Hannah at Tonto Natural Bridge

Hannah is so exited to be visiting Tonto Natural Bridge.   The Tonto Natural Bridge is 183 feet tall.  It is thought to be the biggest natural travertine (a type of limestone, that now people make tile out of) bridges in the world.  Wow!  Hannah enjoyed looking at all the cracks, crevices and caves.  In 1877 between Pine and Payson, Arizona, David Gowin ended up at the bridge while being chased by Apaches.  David hid in the caves for 3 days and 2 nights.  After 3 days David explored the newly discovered valley and later claimed the squatters rights.  Today it is a state park.

Hannah On the Road

Hannah is thrilled to to be stopping at the famous Hoover Dam on her way to visit the Grand Canyon with her friends.

Hannah is so exited to see THE Grand Canyon.  It is grand.
